Jason Klein, a partner in WSHB's Denver office will be sharing his knowledge and expertise with other professionals regarding the importance of effective communication at the upcoming CLM Annual Conference. In this panel discussion, entitled "Communication is the Key: So Why Are We So Bad At It?" set to take place on August 13, 2021 at 10:40 a.m., Jason will be joined by fellow industry leaders, Andy Guerra of Envista Forensics and Laura Straznicky from Engle, Martin & Associates, as they examine this important topic.
This presentation pulls from a previous panel discussion wherein the seven habits of an effective claims team were discussed. Of the seven habits, communication was the first. In this presentation, participants will learn that to achieve effective communication it requires much more than the simple exchange of information. Communication should include discretion, empathy and clear intentions. Listening is a key component of effective communication and will be delved into further as it applies to claims decisions, as well as including auxiliary parties in the claims process as a whole.
