The Litigation Support Paralegal supports our Litigation Support department and legal teams across all offices nationwide. Qualified candidates will play a key role in handling eDiscovery data management and document review/production workflows. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of paralegal and litigation support experience and must be technically proficient. We are seeking a candidate residing in Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone for a remote position.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Must possess a paralegal certificate.
• Understanding of eDiscovery data processing, document review, and document production workflows.
• Proficiency in eDiscovery, case management and trial support tools such as IPRO, Relativity, Everlaw, Everchron and Trial Director, or similar.
• Proficiency in conducting searches, and managing metadata within eDiscovery tools.
• Excellent communication skills for working with legal teams.
• Must possess strong technical skills.
• Problem-Solving skills for complex data analysis.
• Must work closely with legal teams and provide updates on project progress, milestones, and issues that may arise.
• Must be proactive, and accurately and efficiently complete tasks while being able to fluctuate and readjust priorities as they shift or become necessary to meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook).
• Proficiency in Zoom and Teams applications to effectively coordinate virtual meetings and collaboration efforts.
• Must demonstrate a client-focused and service-oriented approach while interacting with legal teams.
• Requires the ability to work 40 Hours a week M-F 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. with the flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
• Reliable with excellent attendance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor the Litigation Support Inbox for inquiries and project requests.
• Collaborate with team on project assignments.
• Execute strategies for efficient data searching and culling.
• Provide technical support for document review platforms.
• Examine data received from legal teams, clients, and third-party vendors for processing which may include setting up ShareFile access, downloading and copying data as well as normalizing and verifying data.
• Assist and collaborate with legal teams on eDiscovery workflows from initiation to completion ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct searches, and manage metadata within eDiscovery tools.
• Schedule and attend virtual meetings via Zoom and Teams as necessary to discuss project assignments, and provide assistance to legal teams.
• Process and load data utilizing eDiscovery tools such as IPRO, Media Shuttle, Everlaw, Everchron, Relativity, Trial Director, and other processing tools, as well as ensure processing exceptions are resolved.
• Prepare data exports and productions, including technical QC, adherence to production requirements provided by legal teams and ESI Protocols.
• Record and track billable hours using Aderant time and billing software.
• Maintain and update department databases and spreadsheets to ensure data tracking and accurate records.
