The New York (Manhattan) office of WSHB is looking for associate applicants with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience for its London Markets Insurance Coverage Practice Group. You must be admitted to the New York State Bar - no exceptions. WSHB attorneys handle a wide-spectrum of matters. On a daily basis, associates work closely with lead attorneys on first-party coverage, advising (nationally) on matters involving large commercial risk, builders risk, and other bespoke coverages. The role will also involve periodic large document commercial litigation and the ideal candidate will also have experience with all phases of litigation from case evaluation and reporting, discovery and depositions. Knowledge and experience with accounting standards, construction practices, surplus lines coverage and insurance regulations is a plus.
