Wood Smith Henning & Berman is pleased to announce 15 of our lawyers have been named to the prestigious list of 2015 Rising Stars. These outstanding attorneys are 40 years or younger and demonstrate the finest qualities of a good lawyer: first-rate legal skills, preparation, judgment, creativity, dedication and ethics.
Honorees from Southern California named to the 2015 list are Raymond Babaian, Partner, Rancho Cucamonga; Matthew Dickson, Senior Counsel, Newport; John Liu, Associate, Newport; Emil Macasinag, Senior Counsel, Los Angeles; Amy Pennington, Partner, Los Angeles; Christopher Perez, Senior Counsel, Rancho Cucamonga; Keith Smith, Partner, Riverside; Domingo Tan, Partner, Los Angeles.
In Northern California, honorees include Mark D’Argenio, Partner, Concord; Kevin Gillispie, Partner, Concord; Alicia Kennon, Senior Counsel, Concord; Eugene Zinovyev, Senior Associate, Concord.
Honorees in Phoenix, Arizona are Jason Mullis, Partner, Phoenix; and Jodi Mullis, Senior Associate.
In Florida, Vincent Beilman, Partner, in WSHB’s Tampa office was also named a Rising Star.
“We are pleased to have 16 of our best selected for this year’s lists,” said Dan Berman, WSHB Managing Partner. “We value our selections to Rising Stars because the choices come from our peers. It is truly an honor and a validation of all of the great work we do at WSHB.”
No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in each state are named to Rising Stars. All attorneys first go through the Super Lawyers selection process. Those who are not selected to the Super Lawyers list, but meet either one of the Rising Stars eligibility requirements, then go through the Rising Stars selection process. The Rising Stars selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.
