Overview
Amber Li is an associate attorney in WSHB's Phoenix, Arizona office. She is adept at managing various aspects of civil litigation, including construction, transportation, and complex torts and casualties.
Amber graduated from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, where she served on the Moot Court Executive Board and earned CALI Awards in the Innovation Advancement Clinic and Genetics and the Law. During law school, she interned with a Fortune 100 firm's Latin America legal department, a prominent employment litigation law firm, and an intellectual property law firm. She also volunteered at her school's pro bono program, where she deconstructed immigration, probate, and family law matters for underserved communities. During her final year of law school, Amber was a judicial extern at the Circuit Court of Cook County's Mortgage Foreclosure and Mechanical Lien's Chancery Division under the Honorable Marian E. Perkins and attended a local Chicago law school while there.
Before law school, Amber earned her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University with a double major in Supply Chain Management and Spanish Language and Culture. She also studied abroad in Spain, focusing on advanced Spanish and international business courses. She is fluent in Spanish and Mandarin.
Outside work, Amber enjoys visiting her local farmers' markets, practicing Pilates, reading about historical and current social issues, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Amber is the first in her family to become an attorney.
