Overview

Anthony Anguille-Valles, D.O. is an associate attorney at WSHB's Las Vegas office. He primarily handles matters involving healthcare providers accused of professional negligence. He is also skilled in handling insurance bad faith and general liability matters.

Dr. Anguille-Valles has an eclectic academic and professional background. While simultaneously pursuing a career in hospitality, Dr. Anguille-Valles graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Biology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. After years of career progression and ongoing post-graduate education, Dr. Anguille-Valles changed course and pursued a medical education. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine and received the Bernard I. Zeliger Leadership and Service Award upon graduation. Soon finding that the system of medicine was not a good fit, Dr. Anguille-Valles returned to his former career in hospitality, where he worked as the spa director at two luxury boutique spas in Chicago, IL.

Seeking further professional growth, Dr. Anguille-Valles pursued his legal education. Dr. Anguille-Valles attended William S. Boyd School of Law on a full academic scholarship. During law school, he served as a teaching assistant for Boyd's first-year legal writing course. He spent much of his extracurricular time volunteering with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and serving as a volunteer judge with the Eighth Judicial District Court's Truancy Diversion Program. He ultimately graduated with his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, with highest pro bono honors and course concentrations in health law and workplace law. Following graduation, Dr. Anguille-Valles submitted his legal capstone to the Nevada Law Journal Scholarly Writing Competition. The piece was awarded first place and published in the Nevada Law Journal.

Dr. Anguille-Valles' legal experience has been broad. While attending law school, he served consecutive summers as a summer associate defending insurance bad faith claims. After law school, he served as the 2023-2024 Community Justice Fellow with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada – a capacity that exposed him to landlord-tenant law, consumer law, debt collection, family law, and juvenile dependency. Following his fellowship, he transitioned into a role as a staff attorney with Legal Aid's Children's Attorneys Project, where he represented childhood victims of abuse and neglect.
