Overview

Chris Clemente is a senior associate in WSHB's Tampa, Florida, office. His practice focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis on defending general liability claims.

Before joining the firm, Chris worked as an assistant public defender for nearly four years. During his time as a public defender, he gained extensive experience by trying 18 jury trials, 16 of which involved felonies, and litigating 16 dispositive motions, including motions to dismiss for self-defense and motions to suppress unlawfully obtained evidence.

Chris is a University of Florida, Levin College of Law graduate. While in law school, he was a member of Florida Blue Key, a justice on the Student Body Supreme Court, president of the Student Bar Association, and an active member of the John Marshall Bar Association.

Before attending law school, Chris received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Central Florida, where he served as Student Body President and a member of the Board of Trustees.
