Dashia Myles is a senior associate in WSHB's New Orleans office. Her practice focuses on insurance coverage.
Dashia earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from Louisiana Tech University and a Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center, where she graduated cum laude. While in law school, Dashia was a member of the Moot Court Team and served as a senior editor for the Journal of Race, Gender, and Poverty. She was also a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge John W. deGravelles in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, and a student intern for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Louisiana.
After law school, Dashia served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Judge Robert C. Johnson and the Honorable Judge Larry D. Jefferson of the Fourth Judicial District Court of Louisiana. Dashia joined WSHB after working as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of New Orleans, where she represented the City in civil litigation matters and the prosecution of Alcoholic Beverage Outlets in the City of New Orleans.
She a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
