Overview

Heather Whittaker is a senior associate attorney in WSHB's Northern California office. She specializes in labor and employment law, professional liability, and complex torts and casualties.

A native of California, Heather completed her undergraduate and legal education in San Francisco. She earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science from San Francisco State University, where she worked as a legal resource counselor. While attending Golden Gate University School of Law, Heather served as a clerk for the Honorable Judge Gail Dekreon at the San Francisco Superior Court. She completed internships with the Homeless Advocacy Project and the California Appellate Project.

After passing the bar, Heather established her family law practice before ultimately transitioning to employment law. As a fierce and passionate advocate, she has a strong track record of defending survivors of domestic violence and supporting clients who are marginally housed. Heather lives in San Francisco with her husband and their two young children.
