Overview

Jacklyn Macias focuses her practice primarily on defending clients under the New York Labor Law, as well as handling a wide range of cases arising from premises, products, and general tort liability claims. In addition to her New York Labor Law and general liability practice, Jacklyn is also a member of the firm's Aviation practice group and handles aviation defense matters, with a focus on claims arising under and/or subject to the provisions of the Montreal Convention.

Jacklyn graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a B.A. in Political Science and obtained her Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California. She is licensed in New York and California and is admitted to practice in the Southern and Northern Districts of New York and the Southern District of California.

She is focused on handling her files from inception to trial with a personal touch. She has extensive experience with depositions, motion practice, oral argument, settlement negotiation, and trial preparation, always keeping her focus on fact development, evaluation of her clients' changing needs, assessing potential liability, opportunities for risk transfer, and potential damages exposure in advance of trial. She prides herself on keeping her clients informed and reassured every step of the way.
