Overview

Jason Jacobs is an experienced senior associate practicing in WSHB's San Diego office. He specializes in handling professional liability and medical malpractice matters.

Jason earned his law degree from California Western School of Law. While attending law school, he gained experience working for the United States Coast Guard JAG, the California Department of Transportation, and as an extern for a federal judge. He also clerked for a San Diego law firm focusing on securities, trade secrets, and complex business litigation. After graduating, Jason started his legal career as an in-house attorney, focusing on safety, compliance, and commercial contracting for a major Hollywood studio.

Originally from Charleston, SC, Jason earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina, where he served as captain of the rugby team. He also holds an M.A. in Criminal Justice.

In his free time, Jason enjoys surfing, playing rugby, and volunteering with animal rescue organizations.
