Overview

Karson S. Kampfe is a senior associate in WSHB’s Chicago, Illinois office, focusing his practice on complex commercial and tort litigation, employment, and intellectual property. He has extensive appellate experience and has litigated in state and federal courts, including jury trials. Karson's experience also includes a judicial clerkship at the Nebraska Supreme Court for Justice Jeffery J. Funke.

As a result of his accomplishments, Karson was recognized as a "Rising Star" in the Great Plains region in 2022 and 2023 by Super Lawyers.

Karson earned his law degree from Ohio State University College of Law and graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Dakota with degrees in political science and criminal justice. While in law school, Karson was a member of the school's law review and was selected for publication.
