Overview
Katharine "Kate" Myers is a senior associate attorney based in the Phoenix, Arizona, office of WSHB. She specializes in commercial litigation, insurance law, coverage disputes, bad faith litigation, and civil appellate matters.
A Phoenix native, Kate earned her Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lewis & Clark College. During her undergraduate studies, she served as a tutor for a Spanish Student Academic Affairs Board and participated in programs abroad at both the Universidad de Chile and Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile in Santiago.
From 2015 to 2019, Kate worked as a clerk for the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division 1, assisting Judges Donn Kessler, Maria Elena Cruz, James P. Beene, and James Morse Jr. In 2020, she clerked for Justice James P. Beene at the Arizona Supreme Court, completing her clerkship in 2021 with Judge Cynthia Bailey at the Arizona Court of Appeals.
Kate is licensed to practice in both Arizona state and federal courts.
