Ryan M. Hicks

Ryan Hicks is the managing partner of Wood Smith Henning & Berman LLP's Colorado office and is highly regarded for his ability to navigate and guide his clients though difficult and complex civil disputes and litigation. He has over 15 years of experience with the last decade focusing on first- and third-party disputes involving construction defects, premises liability, catastrophic injury, product liability, insurance coverage, and professional liability claims and actions. Ryan's daily experience includes the representation of a diverse array of clients ranging from seasoned national and international builders/developers, retailers, property managers, and product manufactures to local "Mom and Pop" business and individuals who find themselves involved in litigation for the first time.

Ryan has developed a knack for establishing meaningful connections with his clients over the years. He takes the time to get to know each client and helps them learn and understand the entire process from initial claim to resolution, whether through savvy negotiations, alternative dispute resolution or trial. This approach helps create a true partnership between attorney and client where everyone contributes in a meaningful and productive way towards the common goal. Ryan truly believes that a well-informed and involved client is the key to success, no matter how large or small, experienced or inexperienced, the client may be.
