Overview
Ryan Hicks is the managing partner of Wood Smith Henning & Berman LLP's Colorado office and is highly regarded for his ability to navigate and guide his clients through difficult and complex civil disputes and litigation. He has over 15 years of experience, with the last decade focusing on first- and third-party disputes involving construction defects, professional liability, and catastrophic injury. He is also well-regarded for his results in handling product liability and insurance coverage. Ryan's daily experience includes the representation of a diverse array of clients ranging from seasoned national and international builders/developers, retailers, property managers, and product manufacturers to local "Mom and Pop" businesses and individuals involved in litigation for the first time.
Ryan takes pride in developing life-long connections with his clients, understanding the nuance and issues unique to every matter he handles. He takes the time to get to know each client. He helps them learn and understand the entire process from initial claim to resolution, whether through savvy negotiations, alternative dispute resolution, or trial.
