Sarah Stilz is a seasoned senior counsel at WSHB’s Orange County office where she specializes in medical malpractice, healthcare law, and elder abuse. With her extensive experience in defending healthcare professionals, medical groups, acute care facilities, and senior living facilities, Sarah is committed to defending healthcare professionals in all aspects of litigation, through trial.
What sets Sarah apart from others is her passion for defending healthcare professionals, which is deeply rooted in her neuroscience background and an abiding interest in the healthcare industry. Her parents, who are both practicing physicians, have been a great source of inspiration and motivation for her in this field.
Sarah’s academic achievements are equally impressive. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2015. During law school, she completed two judicial clerkships and internships with the City Attorney’s Office and USD’s Legal Clinics. Sarah graduated with a concentration in civil litigation and was recognized for completing 100 pro bono hours, during which she provided legal assistance to underprivileged community members.
When Sarah is not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, weightlifting, scuba diving, and snowboarding. She is a proud mother of two beautiful girls and has a senior Australian Shepherd who is always along for the ride.
