Overview
Serena Tenison is an associate attorney in the New Orleans office of WSHB. Her practice encompasses complex civil litigation, focusing on commercial and personal automobile cases, trucking incidents, premises liability, construction disputes, catastrophic claims, and licensing for construction contractors. Additionally, Serena serves as an outside Title IX and student conduct investigator for colleges and universities.
Serena grew up in North Louisiana and attended University of Louisiana at Monroe, where she earned Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in English before attending Tulane University School of Law. During law school, Serena excelled as a participant and coach on the Alternative Dispute Resolution moot court team and as a student attorney with the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic. She has also volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (“CASA”) for children brought into the foster care system.
She is a notary public and is admitted to practice in Louisiana, including in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Western, and Middle Districts, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Serena is a member of several professional organizations, including the Louisiana Bar Association, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, and the New Orleans and Jefferson Bar Associations.
