Overview

Sophia Sunderhaus is a senior associate attorney at WSHB's Detroit, Michigan, office, where she handles insurance coverage and complex civil litigation. She is licensed to practice law in Michigan and South Carolina.

Sophia graduated from the Charleston School of Law, where she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board and mentored new advocates. Before law school, Sophia attended Pennsylvania State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology. Growing up in a military family, she lived in various locations across the U.S. and Europe.

Sophia has over three years of experience working at the Berkeley County Public Defender's Office, where she represented indigent clients on various criminal offenses. She also worked at a boutique law firm in Grand Rapids, where she gained extensive experience in civil litigation.

She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets in her free time and is an avid gardener.
