Overview
Stacy Goldscher is a partner in WSHB's Los Angeles office. She has represented insurance carriers, publicly traded corporations, and individuals in all aspects and phases of litigation including pre-litigation claims resolution, pre-trial discovery, motion practice, alternative dispute resolution, and trial.
She also has extensive experience in insurance matters, including insurance coverage and bad faith claims. Stacy's practice focuses on insurance coverage, business litigation, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, mass tort and bad faith litigation. Stacy has obtained favorable results in countless insurance coverage and complex litigation matters. She has obtained reported decisions in the following matters: James River Insurance Company v. Medolac Laboratories, 290 F.Supp.3d 956 (2018); Secard Pools, Inc. v. Kinsale Ins. Company, 318 F.Supp.3d 1147 (2017); Centurion Medical Liability Protective Risk Retention Group, Inc. v. Gonzalez, 296, F.Supp.3d 1212 (2017); and California Traditions, Inc. v. Claremont Liability Ins. Co., 197 Cal.App.4th 410 (2011).
Stacy graduated from Loyola Law School where she served as an Articles Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles International Law Review. She earned several academic awards including the First Honors Award, given to the student with the highest grade in class in Legal Research and Writing, Insurance Law, and Conflicts of Laws. Stacy received her undergraduate degree in Journalism with a minor in Political Science from California State University, Northridge.
