Overview
Dr. Victor Kang is an associate attorney at WSHB's Las Vegas office. He handles all facets of complex civil litigation cases and is a member of the State Bar of Nevada. He is admitted to practice law before all courts in Nevada.
Dr. Kang has an impressive educational background. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular & Cell Biology with a concentration in Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Kang served as an anesthesiology and critical care resident at Saint Louis University Hospital for two years. In the following two years, he was a family medicine resident at St. Anthony's Medical Center in Westminster, Colorado.
Armed with an exceptional medical background, Dr. Kang pursued and received his Juris Doctor from William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While in law school, he served as the articles editor of the Nevada Law Journal, was named to the Dean’s Honor List, and was a member of the law school's honors moot court team, among other honors and activities. He was also a research assistant to Professor Leslie Griffin, an extern to the Honorable Judge Timothy Barnes in the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Illinois, and was a law clerk handling appellate matters. Additionally, he worked as a teaching assistant at the William S. Boyd School of Law.
Dr. Kang is fluent in Korean.
