WSHB partner Michelle Arbitrio will lead a panel entitled "Tangible Strategies for Combatting Unconscious Bias against Women in the Workplace without Risking Backlash" at the 3rd Annual Women in Insurance Leadership ExecuSummit on March 6, 2019. Joan Simone of AmTrust, Antoinette Parker of Berkley Pro, and Erika Nelson of Allied World will also participate in the panel presentation.
"Unconscious bias is a prevalent and challenging issue to address in the workplace that impacts recruiting, hiring, performance evaluations, promotion and tenure, and consideration for leadership positions," said Ms. Arbitrio, a partner in WSHB's New York office. "It is our hope that attendees will leave this presentation armed with best practices to identify and disrupt unconscious bias, so that it does not present a barrier to their career advancement in the insurance industry."
The Women in Leadership ExecuSummit Conference will take place on March 5th and 6th, 2019 at the Mohegan Sun Resort & Convention Center in Uncasville, Connecticut.
